1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Card Drop ("the Service") at getcarddrop.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Card Drop is a web-based event networking platform. Organizers create temporary contact pools ("pools") for their events. Guests join pools and share contact information with other attendees. Pools are ephemeral and expire at the end of the event.

3. User Accounts

Organizers must create an account to create and manage events. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

Guests do not require an account. By submitting your contact information to a pool, you consent to that information being visible to other participants in the same pool during the event.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Submit false or misleading contact information
  • Scrape, harvest, or collect data from other users without consent
  • Attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours
  • Use the Service to send unsolicited communications
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure

5. Payments and Subscriptions

Card Drop offers paid plans including a pay-per-event option ($10 per event) and subscription plans ($15/month or $149/year). Payments are processed securely by Stripe.

Subscription plans include a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial ends. You may cancel at any time before the trial ends to avoid charges.

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds for partially used billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at support@getcarddrop.com.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and content, is owned by Card Drop. You retain ownership of any contact information you submit. You grant Card Drop a limited license to store and display your information as necessary to operate the Service.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Card Drop does not guarantee uptime, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. We are not responsible for the content submitted by users.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Card Drop shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@getcarddrop.com.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
